✸regular is ok

the guys at rglr[s] studio, a youtube channel started by four friends during the pandemic, reached out to me about wanting to make some new merch - something inspired by the trendy retro characters and vibes they were seeing all over the streetwear brands they follow.

i chose to use a star as the motif for the character, as it is a bit of a juxtaposition to being “regular.” we landed on the messaging of “it’s okay to be regular. you’re still a star.” I used this final piece of artwork and crafted a hoodie and tee for the studio to sell on their merch website. just a couple of regular guys who want to be stars on youtube!
