✸LQD_V3

lqd is a sub-brand of team liquid, aiming to reach outside of the status quo, to be a little “weird.” it took inspiration from post-apocalyptic, dune-inspired fashion styles with ragged edges, no drawstrings, an oversized hood, and neutral, organic color palettes with minimal but unusual, “weird” graphic placements.

the “lqd” brand style for the hoodie is always raglan sleeves and chevron prints on the shoulders, but for the V3 iteration, I wanted to try something new: mauve coloring, and a pocket that only opened on one side and a hidden zip mini pocket, challenging the visual norm of what a front pocket should look like.

ON THIS PROJECT i WORKED ON BOTH THE GARMENT DESIGN, TECH PACKS, AND GRAPHICS. the collection included a raw hem tee shirt, long sleeve tee, and two colorways of the iconic lqd hoodie body, reimagined with its new bells and whistles: the “bone white” the collection was named after, and a dusty rose mauve - organic feeling, and wearable by everyone.
