✸bad birdie: arizona vibes

fashion forward and streetwear-inspired golf apparel brand, Bad birdie, was looking to create a wearable, but unique golf apparel collection that centered around the theme of an “arizona destination golf vacation,” without feeling too cliche or on the nose with its visual elements.

i created a collection of items, including custom repeat patterns and bad birdie logo re-imagined in a southwest style. the repeat pattern is subtle but says “BAD birdie,” making it a truly unique pattern for the brand that cannot be used elsewhere.

for the color story, i was inspired by the organic but still very bright colors in the arizona countryside, from canyons and sunsets, bright blue-green waterfalls, cacti, and dusty pathways. i wanted to include colors that would feel bright and different from the colors currently trending in streetwear, but would still be wearable, and also not rely on black or pure white as a crutch to make the collection flow together.
